What to Expect in Angel's Belly Dance & Latin Fusion Classes
Angel's classes are known for their warm, encouraging atmosphere and technically rigorous instruction. With training in classical ballet, Latin dance, flamenco, and over 30 years of professional teaching experience, Angel brings a depth of knowledge that helps students of all levels grow.
Angel's signature offering is her Latin-Belly Dance Fusion class, where students learn to blend belly dance technique with Salsa, Merengue, Cha-Cha-Cha, Reggaeton, and Samba. Students also learn to identify each rhythm and its cultural origins — a unique educational experience you won't find in any other belly dance class in Orlando.

Take your bellydance to a hot new level!
Have fun Bellydancing, drilling technique (Latin and Bellydance) and learning exciting combos while also learning some of the most basic steps of Salsa, Cha-Cha-Cha, Merengue, Samba, Reggaeton, and more.

Part of Latin belly dance fusion class is designed to teach students to identify each style of dance by its rhythm. While dancing, shimmying and having fun, students will also learn each rhythm's region of origin.
While in Latin belly dance fusion class, you will learn to identify each rhythm, birthplace of each step, along with stylization and technique. This will help train dancers and students to properly fuse Bellydance with Latin Dance.

Angel was the owner of her own studio in Puerto Rico, has taught regular weekly classes in NYC, Florida and in the Washington, DC metro area. At the time of the 2020 Covid shut-down, Angel was teaching at A Magi Temple Belly Dance School. This is the longest running belly dance studio in Orlando! Currently, Angel is teaching online classes and in-person classes. All in-person classes are located at Bellywood Studios (10325 Orangewood Blvd. Unit 109 Orlando Fl).
Angel occasionally also teaches other masterclasses and workshops of belly dance in Orlando (upon announcement) and other conventions such as Art of the Belly in Ocean City, MD, Orlando Bellydance Convention, Migrations (Austin, TX) and Essence of Bellydance (Atlanta, GA). She was also an instructor (2019) at DCBA Bellydance convention in Hunt Valley, MD and other conventions even as far as Argentina and Puerto Rico..
